Wow – what a great evening at Reef Encounter. Thankfully my friend and I booked a table for Friday evening for the 2 of us with 2 dogs. Both dogs were greeted by one of the owners and fed gravy bones! Our food was delicious – freshly prepared and well presented. On a Friday there is live music – the singer that evening was brilliant although a little too loud for our Collie dog companion! Sue

To celebrate the launch of DogFriendlyTogether.co.uk, Sue (with Harmony of course) and I met for a bite to eat at The New Beehive Hotel in Canford Cliffs, Poole. Dogs are welcome and while we were there we saw 3 or 4 come and go. The food was really good and reasonably priced although vegetarian options are limited for awkward types like me! Took Harmony to do the pub quiz at The Sandacre pub in Sandbanks. Dogs are made to feel really welcome and greeted with a couple of gravy bones! Dogs are allowed everywhere but the restaurant and there are always several other dogs in there. The quiz is held every Tuesday from 9.00pm and always well attended. Food is freshly prepared and absolutely delicious especially the Steak and Ale pie that I had last night. Sue

Joined some friends for a drink straight after work at Le Bateau in Ashley Cross and had no idea that it was a dog friendly bar and bistro until I saw a black lab come in with its owner. Dogs are allowed everywhere except in the restaurant area and made to feel really welcome. Will definitely take my dog there in the future but will avoid the late night crowd when the place gets really busy. Sue

My friend Kate and I enjoyed a very enjoyable evening in The Grasshopper. Dogs are welcome but only in the bar area where there are about 6 tables. We were made to feel very welcome. The food was delicious and good value. They even cooked a special meal for my friend who is on a diet. Sue

Went to The Manor in Burton last night. Excellent food, lovely atmosphere and very dog friendly. Dogs are allowed in the bar area where we had a delicious meal. There were 2 other dogs there and we were made to feel very welcome. Parking right outside too. Sue

Went to the hotel for a hen weekend. Dogs permitted in reception and in the rooms. Short walk from Wareham Forest. Cost extra £5 per night for your dog.

Right on the beach at Sandbanks. Dogs very welcome anywhere inside the cafe. Table service in the evening.

Good sized car park about 5 minutes walk to the beach. Pub welcomes dogs and there were several in the bar including an adorable puppy.

Large pub car park. Extensive walks from the pub into the New Forest. Loads of dogs in the pub that evening. Food was delicious and excellent value for money. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Took Harmony (my White German Shepherd) to the hotel for a 10.00am meeting. Parked in the hotel car park and walked to the bar through hotel reception. Lovely light airey bar with stunning views and plenty of room. Coffee served with biscuits.

Dogs welcomed anywhere in the pub or garden. Several dogs in the pub that evening. Food excellent . Easily accessible from Sandbanks ferry – free parking in the evening.
